Gold Plated Tungsten Wire

Some applications require the tungsten to be gold plated. The main reasons for gold plating tungsten wire are to protect the wire from corrosion or to solder it to other metals.

Standard gold coat thickness for wires < 50 microns is 3-5% by weight. For wire dimensions > 50 microns the coat thickness is 0,5 micron.

 Upon request we also manufacture wire with non standard coat thickness.
